We are a co-educational preparatory school in North London educating children aged 4 to 11. The school is set in a large, bright and airy, 19th Century former convent on the doorstep of leafy Regent’s Park and London Zoo. As part of the Alleyn’s Schools Group, our approach to education is rooted in 400 years of tradition and entrepreneurial learning.
At the heart of our offer is a holistic education – living our ethos of ‘All We Can Be’ – which supports our pupils to be kind, happy, inspired and, having ‘found their thing’, ready to lead and to make a positive difference in the world.

Alleyn's Regent's Park Open Days
We look forward to welcoming you to Alleyn’s Regent’s Park. Please see our upcoming events below and reserve your place using the booking form. We look forward to meeting you.
Open Morning:
Friday 27 March, 9:30am
We are proud that our school is a place where children love learning and strive to achieve academically in a well-rounded and inspiring curriculum, based on our school learning dispositions. There are opportunities for children to think and go beyond the traditional curriculum everyday through Aspiring Minds – our speaker and academic enrichment programme. And our own AiQ curriculum gives children the opportunity to combine the rigour of traditional subjects with the practical skills and tech confidence they will need for the modern world.
We believe that school is a place where children start to discover their passions and form their own identity.
Outside the classroom, our children can ‘find their thing’ through a wide range of activities, from sport and the performing arts in our Bear pits to music, languages, STEM, and AI in our All Studios. Our All In co-curricular programme is designed to promote respect, kindness, and empathy while inspiring a sense of wonder at the world of possibilities open to them – encouraging them to try anything and everything as they live the Alleyn’s motto, All We Can Be.
Alleyn’s Regent’s Park pupils learn and grow in a happy, nurturing environment, benefiting from the Alleyn’s Emotional Quotient (AEQ) – a pastoral programme designed to support proactive wellbeing. We take pride in being a school where children build relationships, develop a strong sense of belonging, and foster a deep sense of community, all within the framework of our ROCCK values (Respect, Opportunity, Courage, Curiosity, and Kindness), with the support and guidance of our highly qualified staff.
We’re excited to welcome our very first Pre-Reception class from September 2026.
Our Pre-Reception class offers a joyful, discovery-rich start for children aged 3+. Thoughtfully shaped around purposeful play, creativity and exploration, it nurtures curiosity, confidence and a love of ...learning from the very start.

🐉 Dragons’ Den meets AiQ!
As part of their AiQ learning, Year 4 pupils became tech innovators, designed technology products for the future, exploring how innovation could be used across a range of sectors inspired by industries including education, transport, gaming and mobile ...technology.
Working collaboratively, pupils were challenged to think beyond the product itself - considering sustainability, pricing, target audience and what sets their idea apart. This project encouraged pupils to think creatively while applying practical, real-world considerations.
The project concluded with a Dragons’ Den–style pitch session in our All Studios, where pupils confidently presented their ideas to a judging panel including Mr Le Tissier, Headteacher, and Year 5 as their audience.
AiQ plays a central role in developing pupils’ critical thinking, collaboration and oral presentation skills, preparing them to engage thoughtfully and confidently with the world around them. 💡

Festive traditions were out in full force across the school last week, bringing everyone together for a much-loved part of the calendar. Christmas Jumper Day, held in support of Save the Children, saw pupils arrive in a brilliant mix of festive designs, adding an extra dash of colour and character ...to the school day.
The celebrations continued with a Christmas lunch prepared by our fantastic catering team. We all enjoyed sitting down together for a traditional festive meal, which quickly became a standout moment of the week and a chance to enjoy the occasion together. 🎄🍽️

On Friday, Mrs Austin was busy teaching Year 5 the foundations of coding!
During an interactive session on code.org, our Head of Digital Learning guided pupils through the process of programming on-screen dancers using block coding.
Year 5 explored how sequencing, timing and ...event-based commands allow them to control movements and actions on screen. As they experimented with different combinations, they could instantly see how their decisions shaped the final animation - a brilliant way to understand how logical thinking fuels creativity in computing.
The session gave them a strong introduction to coding principles while building confidence, curiosity and problem-solving skills. 💻🎶🎸

It was another brilliant sporting opportunity for our pupils as Alleyn’s Regent’s Park returned to Alleyn’s Junior School in Dulwich, this time for a fantastic afternoon of netball.
Eight of our Year 6 pupils took to the court and worked exceptionally well together, showing sharp ...communication, excellent movement on court and real determination throughout a challenging set of fixtures. How can young people shape a greener future? 🌍
On Tuesday, our Years 3–8 pupils had the privilege of hearing from @aisling_connaughton sustainability expert, co-founder of a climate-positive consultancy, and TEDx speaker whose work inspires communities to take practical, meaningful ...action for the environment.
Ahead of the assembly, pupils explored the UN Sustainable Development Goals and reflected on which global challenges mattered most to them - from clean energy to reducing inequalities to protecting life on land and below water. With support from their Eco Council representatives, they came prepared to engage, question, and think critically about the role they each play in shaping a sustainable future.
Aisling’s session concluded with a thoughtful Q&A, where pupils asked insightful questions about climate change, individual impact, and what real action looks like in everyday life.
A huge thank you to Aisling for sparking such powerful conversations and empowering our pupils to believe that positive change begins with them. ✨🌱
