Alleyn’s Regent’s Park is set in a beautiful former convent right on the edge of Regent’s Park.
Over the next 18 months, we are investing in this heritage building to make sure it provides the very best school environment for our pupils as they are immersed in their Alleyn’s education. A multi-million-pound build and refurbishment programme, which includes a new Dining Facility and Dance Studio, remodelling of our chapel and a Pastoral Hub, called The Well to house our pastoral teams, medical and counselling functions. This means that the school itself will embody the Alleyn’s experience, reflecting Alleyn’s values and education whilst at the same time retaining its own strong Regent’s Park identity.
At Alleyn’s we believe that the physical environment that a child learns in has an important impact on their education, their sense of belonging and wellbeing. We believe a school building should be designed in a way that feels friendly, creative and authentic, to every child from Reception onwards.
The feeling of belonging starts as soon as pupils enter Alleyn’s Regent’s Park, walking directly into the heart of the school and straight into our holistic curriculum. As they come into the school reception, on their right will be the All Studios – the hub of the Alleyn’s AiQ curriculum; on the left will be The Well, the home of our proactive wellbeing programme the AEQ; and straight ahead in the beautiful former chapel will be the Bear pit, our creative heartbeat and the centre of our performing arts curriculum.

The Well
The Well will be the home for our core pastoral and welfare services, housing counselling rooms, a sick bay, and a bright and airy multi-purpose space for our educational welfare work. The Well will be designed to be a calm and quiet environment to put pupils at their ease and provide a break from busy school life.
All Studios
All Studios will be our hub for the AiQ curriculum, a creative an energetic space for collaboration, experimentation and sharing of ideas. All Studios will provide spaces for the spoken arts (Voice), collaboration (Co-lab) and presentation (Immersion).
Bear pit
Right at the heart of our school in our glorious and historic chapel, a space for performing arts, building on a legacy created by Alleyn’s founder and actor Edward Alleyn.
