Welcome from the Head

At Alleyn’s, an education inspires and enriches, rooted in our aim to instil a lifelong love of learning in every pupil. Our broad curriculum is built to nurture curiosity, creativity, and excellence in a vibrant and exciting environment that embodies the fun and joy of learning. We cater to the different learning styles of girls and boys while making the most of our co-educational setting. Seven learning dispositions are woven throughout the curriculum, celebrated in commendations, reports, and feedback – ensuring our pupils continuously develop confidence, resilience, and a genuine passion for discovery.

We believe children excel in what they have truly experienced. That’s why our wide-ranging and dynamic curriculum balances core subjects such as Maths, English, Science, and Humanities with Music, Drama, Dance, and Languages. Our school values – the Alleyn’s ROCCK (Respect, Opportunity, Curiosity, Courage, and Kindness) – are embedded in every aspect of school life and bring power and purpose to everyone in the Alleyn’s community.

We aim to provide a first-class, all-round education that prepares pupils for the next stage of their journey – whether that’s at one of London’s top senior schools or at Alleyn’s Senior School. Many of our pupils achieve prestigious scholarships and move on to destinations such as Channing, City of London, Highgate, Merchant Taylors’, Mill Hill, North London Collegiate, South Hampstead, St Paul’s, UCS, and Westminster. No matter their path, our pupils leave us as lifelong learners ready to embrace the challenges ahead.

Above all, Alleyn’s Regent’s Park Prep is a community. It is a place where every child’s progress – academic and personal – is championed, and where their happiness is at the heart of everything we do. I hope our website provides you with a glimpse into the vibrant life of our school, and I warmly invite you to visit us in person. Come and experience the energy, spirit, and joy of learning as our pupils discover new strengths, develop resilience, and ultimately ‘find their thing.’
